SAFE DRIVING INITIATIVE
Elizabeth Giordano was a Wrentham, Massachusetts native who lost her life at the age of 24 in May 2009 in a fatal car crash caused by distracted driving. Elizabeth’s family started the Hummingbird foundation to honor the memory of a beautiful, loving woman whose life ended before it had barely begun, to extend her legacy of helping others, to raise awareness of — and combat — distracted driving and lessen the toll it takes on people everywhere. Through our Safe Driving Initiative, we ask our participants and supporters to pledge never to drive while distracted.
